About The Artwork: Protectors, fierce & untameable
This artwork is based on the Dharawal word for "dog". The term is universally used by First Nation communities on the east coast of New South Wales (Southeast QLD to VIC border) as an affectionate term for dog, or wild dog. Protectors of People and Land: Historically, dingoes guarded camps against threats, including, in some beliefs, sensing evil spirits. In the Bundjalung region (also know as dabahy), they represent a fierce, untameable, and loyal connection to the environment.
This T-Shirt is made of 100% cotton material.
